AYG 02 0820 User's guide for 1X15W Ambient strelization fixture

Product Information:

The AYG 02 ​​0820 UV Armeture (220V) that you have bought works with 220V city electricity. The product is designed to be mounted on the wall in order to eliminate microorganisms in the air. It is assumed that the device will be effective in an area of approximately 25m² in a place with a ceiling height of 2.50-3 meters. As the size of the space grows, the number of devices will need to be increased.

UV lamp armature; will be mounted on the wall. 15W power UV-C Fluorescent Bulbs are used in the product.

While the bulb is burning light, it should not be exposed to UV rays directly.

Installation:

In order for the radiation to be effective, the size of the room where the installation will be made, the ceiling height and the usage type must be taken into consideration. Generally, if the length of the  wall in the room is relatively long, it may be considered to be placed on both short walls.

Your AYG 02 ​​0820 UV disinfection armature should be mounted on the wall at a minimum height of 2.10 meters from the floor. The height of the ceiling should not be under 2.5 meters in the ambient where the device is located. (Figure 1)

It is preferable not to have a person sitting permanently under the device to avoid possible reflections.

 The luminaire must be mounted on the wall with the UV lamp facing the Ceiling.

 

The UV lamp must be closed, While installing the lamp.

 Make sure that the plug is not plugged in, when the lamp is replaced or installed.

The lamp should not be exposed to radiation. Lamp rays can even be reflected from the ceiling.

For this reason, the minimum ceiling height must be 2.5 meters. When exposed to lamp radiation, it may cause watery eyes, stinging and burns, skin flushing and rashes temporarily.

For UV lamps to be effective, air circulation in the room is important. As you know uv radiation power decreases in small space in order to have a great effeciency it is better to have higher airflow movement at close distance to the lamp.

The movement of the people in the space enables this circulation by allowing the air mass inside to move.  It is appropriate to leave the UV Lamps on for 24 hours. Lamps should be turned off when cleaning and maintenance. UV lamps can be cleaned once a month with a damp cloth. Water and chemicals should not be used during cleaning.

Luminaire mechanical parts are guaranteed for 1 year against manufacturing defects. Bulb life is 9000 hours. Average working times should be calculated from the moment of installation and the replacement times of the lamps should be planned in advance.
